Mud and METAL specialized in functional art, craft, and jewelry for you and the ones you love. Our intent was to showcase artists from all over not shown yet in Baltimore and provide space for local artists. We appreciate functional work and the artists who can not stop creating.
MUD and METAL opened in the fall of 1995 on the 800 block of west 36th street, aka the Avenue, hon. We had a lot of fun in that small space, really so much! It would fill up with 10 people...
In 2006 we bought the old abandoned and gutted Hampden House Bar at 1121 w. 36th st. It was a large undertaking, but the result was much more space, taller walls, more natural light, and the addition of a second floor.
Several years ago we finished the renovation upstairs and opened it up for gallery shows and yoga classes. The Gallery Above rotated group shows every two months.
This has been a wonderful journey and I am so grateful for everyone along the way, our artists, our town, and you, our almighty and fantastic customers.
Please do not hesitate to ask anything.
I am reachable by phone 410-467-8698 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

First Friday at Mud and Metal
Hampden, Baltimore City
Hampden is an amazing, eclectic and supportive community. This is an historic city neighborhood once famous for its fabric mills. Today it is filled with a unique collection of independently owned shops, delicious food, holistic care, and bars with music of course!
There is something for all ages in Hampden, so bring the family, friends from out of town or just you and your honey for a good time, any time in Hampden!
We have created our own visual walking tour of Hampden starting from right outside MUD and METAL's front door. Take a look and make note of all the fun you will have in Hampden! For more about Hamoden, visit http://hampdenmerchants.com/
